Please correct me if I'm wrong.

One more related question:

Who ( Master or Slave ) is the reference when we talk about Incremental
transfer?
Can we have the following scenarios ( and which of these are valid
ones? )

Master ( IXFR ) -- Slave ( IXFR )
-----------------------------------------------
YES                -- YES
YES                -- NO
NO                  -- YES
NO                  -- NO
