req: help with reverse mapping, and/or doc about it.

Hello,

Can I find a sample AND SIMPLE document about creating reverse DNS
resolving configuration files for Bind 8.2.3 ?

I have an ancient DNS working but without the reverse mappings. I
don't want to covert to the latest version as the system is working
fine and I have limited time.

I have tried adding the following lines in a file db.212.175.x, and
also copied the content to 212.175.x.rev, and x.175.212.in-addr.arpa
files all located within the /var/named, next to the other conf files,
but www.dnsstuff.com says the PTR's are not defined.

Any idea ?
