Resolv.conf and Ping

The general idea is that searchlist won't do any good. Use
FQDN everywhere ( except perhaps one domain)

Searchlist will create an ambiguity which domain has been used, sooner
or later it will get the wrong one and you will waste your
time troubleshooting.
