DNS resolving.

you can dump your cache and see, I guess you will have it. Do you use 
"minimal-responses yes" in your options. If yes these additional A 
records will not be showned.

Also one thing is what bind shows in the responses, and other what it 
has it in it's cache, there are certain uknown (maybe only to me:-)) 
rules, when bind refuses to provide data in it's cache but uses them 
internally. So don't ever think that what you see in the cache people 
(your clients) will see, and don't think that bind will never go and 
query external servers when it has data already in the cache, it it 
subject to bind internal reasoning, and most of the time it is true, but 
not always.
