Configure your syslog daemon to open a socket inside the chroot.

FreeBSD system:
39430 ?? Ss     0:00.00 /usr/sbin/syslogd -l /var/run/log -l /chroot/named/var/run/log -s
75621 ?? Is     0:00.21 /usr/sbin/named -u bind -g bind -t /chroot/named
