Help! Cannot resolve any host name

Please, Help!

In IE, Netscape, CuteFTP, Outlook Express I can not connect with any
server, neither by IP address, nor by name. However, if I enter the IP
address of a site in the "host" file, I can connect with this site.
So, I can connect only with the sites listed in my host file. The
program nslookup still works and can resolve host names.
It all happened 2 days ago, and I have no idea what caused it.
Everything worked fine until then, and I did not change anything.
