bind844 and naptr problems

problem.

local name server (bind 8.4.4) does not return the
same NAPTR answer that a stealth master returns.


query:   dig @ns.auth.example.net 1.1.1.1.1.2.8.enum.example.net naptr
bind 8.3.4 returns

<blah>  "!^\\+*$!iax2:vgw-01.abq.us.telavoip.com/\\1!" .



query:   dig  1.1.1.1.1.2.8.enum.example.net naptr
bind 8.4.4 returns:

<blah>	"!^+*$!iax2:vgw-01.abq.us.example.net/1!" .


this breaks some enum applications...

thoughts ideas ???
