Problem with slow response!

Hi all.

I have a problem with my bind 9 dns server configured with forwaders.
As i have already notice on archived emails, this is a real problem, but
no one write
down a solution.
When i try to resolve an extrenal name for wich my server wasn't
authoritative,
it take so long time (4-8 secs) or time-out directly.
Leaving the servers to query root-dn servers to obtain in autonomy the
ip, all work well.
I need to setup forwarders, and i wolud like to know if there is a way
to solve.
