Sorry this is my bad for being unclear, none of this is on internal
IP's, I just put in 192.168.x.x IP's the same way I always put in
"example.com" in my domains when talking about them.

So I'm not sure this is a firewall issue, since even on remote servers
outside our firewalls we have the same issue and if it was a firewall
issue we wouldn't be able to use dig or host from the command line.
