actually that is what i did with bind9; according to 8.4.3 release notes
you can completely disbale IPv6-Transport with using the -4 commandline
switch:
1612.   [func]          named now takes arguements -4 and -6 to limit the
                        IP transport used for making queries.
which is what i did.
