Bind Help - Lookup Timeouts

If you try again a few seconds later, do you get an answer ? I had a 
slightly similar problem a while ago, and it turned out to be a 
matter of our slow (64k ISDN) internet link being overloaded, and by 
the time a reply came back the client had timed out. Retrying the 
query a few seconds later would normally result in an answer as the 
server had finished querying and cached the result in the meantime.
