How to look up my NS and glue information in root zone files?

It *should* display what is stored in the apex (here, ".edu") zone
files. It *may* display your own zone's (here, "amherst.edu") content
if:

* the apex nameserver is recursive (TLD servers should not be
recursive but some are and, worse, some do not set "fetch-glue no"),

* or the apex nameserver is also an authoritative name server for your
zone (most TLD never do so).
