round-robin list size problem?

The MAX_SHUFFLE value is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. I needed to
prove there was a maximum.
I looked at raising this value but there is a maximum number of addresses
that most DNS clients will accept in response to a DNS request. This maximum
value is called MAXADDRS in Solaris and HP/UX and is set to 35 in
/usr/include/netdb.h.

Assuming a recent version of BIND 9, take a look at the MAX_SHUFFLE
constant in lib/dns/rdataset.c.

Subject: round-robin list size problem?

Does anyone know if there is a maximum number of entries allowed in a
round-robin A record list?

Has anyone seen an issue where a round-robin list with a large number (30+)
of entries does not round-robin?
