nslookup -d2 shows "QUESTIONS:" are incorrect.

I think this should be an easy question for those in the know.

When I do an nslookup on any domain (say yahoo.com) the lookup times
out.  If I use the -d2 switch and it shows me some details of the
lookup I see something like this.

QUESTIONS:
yahoo.com.MYDOMAIN.com

This doesn't seem right.  It would seem to me that it should only be
putting my domain in when I put in a nonqualified name like

nslookup MYCOMPUTER

and it would read MYCOMPUTER.MYDOMAIN.COM.

How to fix???  Thanks for helping a brotha out.
I am running DNS on widows 2k. :)
