In your ISP's /24 reverse zone (assuming they run BIND):

$GENERATE 1-62 $ CNAME $.vlan1.rev.example.com.

In your vlan1.rev.example.com, rev.example.com or example.com zone
(depending on how your forward namespace is delegated):

1.vlan1.rev.example.com. PTR alpha.example.com.
2.vlan1.rev.example.com. PTR beta.example.com.
(and so forth...)

Of course, this would require close co-operation from your ISP. They may
have other ideas about how to do "classless in-addr.arpa delegation". If
they follow RFC 2317 slavishly, they'll want to delegate a subzone of
their /24 reverse zone, instead of just using some zone (e.g.
example.com) that you're already serving. In that case, you'd need to
add a new zone definition to named.conf, and somehow arrange for the
zone to be slaved, for redundancy. You're pretty much stuck doing things
whichever way they dictate.

                                                - Kevin
