 No.

 You can CNAME test.domainname.com to www.golf.com, and have the webserver
 located at www.golf.com redirect your HTTP request to <root_dir>/help

 A CNAME, by definition, has to point to an object that has a
 corresponding A record, and "www.golf.com/help/" is an illegal hostname,
 thus cannot have an A record.
