what will BIND do if we provide incorrect zone via AXFR?

Hello,

if I made a mistake in a zone and reload BIND, it refuses the zone.
What will happen, if the same incorrect zone comes from other (non-BIND) DNS
server via AXFR? will bind refure the zone at all, or will it refuse new
zone and continue providing old one?
