Authoritative + Caching Name Server

Hello All,

I do have a simple question. Please bear with me on this:-)
It should be possible to configure BIND-8 to act as BOTH Authoritative
as well as Caching Name Server, yes?
Could someone please refer me to a howto on this.
The reason I want to do this are obvious - don't flood the Internet
with queries...
