Multiple wildcard levels

You'd have to put a wildcard entry at the apex of every zone, as well as
for every subdomain branch (e.g. if the zone example.com has an A record
for foo.bar.example.com, then you'd need both a *.foo.bar.example.com
and a *.bar.example.com in addition to the apex *.example.com wildcard,
in order to catch everything under each branch level).
