bind, dns, and sendmail

Thank you for your replies, Kevin. I eventually ended up using sendmail's
masquerade commands to get any local email to be sent from domain.com.
However, all virtual host email accounts still send email from ns.domain.com
when sent from a locally logged on account. However, this is no longer a
issue. As I started to think about the issue, I realized that all I really
cared about was that sendmail was correctly routing email to the correct
accounts. The pop client is the key. The pop client needs to be configured
with the correct pop account info and ITS configuration determines the
sender's address. So, I installed qpopper on the FreeBSD box and then
configured M$ Outlook to pop several email accounts. Everything works as it
should. Cheers,
