I should add that I have suggested that we appoint a central 
maintainer and store the nameserver info for each domain in a 
database of some sort (or just a machine readable flat file), and 
when anything changes, run a script that will generate a file for 
everyone which they can 'include' into their DNS config.

So far it's not been taken up, and I don't want to shout too loud 
incase they turn round and give me the job of writing it !
