BIND doesn't "want to use" anything by default, and a query for
version.bind returns NOTIMPL - you sure your in the right
newsgroup? I suspect you want a Microsoft group, or to convert
to using BIND for DNS.

I can't reach a name server on ns3.asuk.net.

ns.asuk.net is not authoritative for your domain, so you may
have a problem with the set up of the other name servers.

In a perfect world you'd get co.uk to list all your name
servers.

The zone is open to transfers from anywhere (hope you intended
that), and on casual inspection looks right to me. Kick the
asuk.net admins to see what their problem is.
