about max-cache-ttl...

Hi~

I'm using BIND 8.3.3 running on lovely my linux box.

I've got one question about "max-cache-ttl" option when I checked
several options of BIND 9. I thought this option is good for my linux
box, so I tried to find it was possible to use in BIND 8.x. But it
seemed that
bind 8 did not support this option.

Is there any trick or good choice using "max-cache-ttl" option running
on BIND 8.3.3 (not negative cache)?
