Having looked at now 1033, 1034 and 1035 with more time
I have come to understand in part the Header section Format ; Question
Section Format & Resource Record Format. (helped trapping a packet with a
DNS query)
The request had a Header with an:
ID of 8133
Param of 0256 from what I understand that is an RA = 1 all others = 0
QDCount of 0001
ANCount of 0000
NSCount of 0000
Question how is the ID created (Random number I'm guessing??)
how is the Checksum created ?
This was a single request TYPE = 255 and CLASS = 1 using UDP
How What would one set the
ID, Param, QDCount, ANCount, NSCount & TYPE and CLASS to in order to do a
TCP
Zone Transfer request??
I couldn't work this out from the 1033 -> 1035 text information?
Anyone have an Idea?
Thanks In advance
Barry
