couldn't add command channel 127.0.0.1#953: file not found

Help!
 
I get the above error when starting named, ( BIND 9.2.2rc1 -d3 on Solaris
2.8) I guess this is why I can't resolve properly?
 
Also I get this error.. 
 
named[446]: [ID 866145 daemon.error] none:0: open: /etc/rndc.key: file not
found
 
Do I need to use rndc etc? If I don't want the extra security? or should I
want the extra security?
