BIND supports wildcard resource records as defined in RFC1034 and
RFC1035.

Well it may represent a hostname in GPRS, but it is not a valid
hostname in the DNS. Hostnames cannot contain the '*' character.
The valid set of characters for a hostname are a-z, A-Z, 0-9, "." and
"-". Wildcards in the DNS -- a label consisting of "*" -- are not the
same as regular-expression wildcards.
