white.dsc.org has probably been registered as a DNS server for a
domain.

Contacting Network Solutions was the right move, but if you can
figure out what domain you might have it registered as the DNS
server for, you may save yourself and them sometime. Try asking
a.gtld-servers.net for the NS list for various domains DSC.net
own.

Probably a .net .com .edu

Meanwhile increasing the TTL of your genuine NS records from 10
minutes would minimise the opportunity for the erroroccuring.
i.e. If you make NS ttl 86400, you may reduce the problem by 100
fold, which might keep the pressure off long enough to get an
answer from Network Solutions who aren't noted for their
rapidity on dealing with issues like this.
