there are 20k zones here, which one?  psg.com zone is clean.

    % named-checkzone psg.com /var/dns/primary/com.psg     
    zone psg.com/IN: loaded serial 200205273
    OK

dumped the database and

    % egrep -i 'cname.*rip\.psg\.com' named_dump.db 
    % egrep -i 'rip\.psg\.com.*cname' named_dump.db 
    %

next?
