quick bind upgrade question

Ladies and Gents,
    I'm Running Red Hat 7.2.  With Bind 9.2.0.  It was installed from source, so I was wondering for simplicity, can I just rpm the 9.2.1 over the top of the curent install?  This is a secondary DNS server, so it can go down for a bit, so what would be the appropriate steps of unistalling bind 9.2.0 and rpming the 9.2.1 so in the future I can just upgrade.........
