Where do zone files go?

	Why do you think that?  You generally have the configuration
	files (named.conf) in a common place (/etc) so that multiple
	administator can find the configuration file.  You generally
	have data files (master/zone files) in there own seperate
	areas so that they are easier to maintain.

	I don't think anyone here would recommend cluttering /etc with
	zone files.  In fact /var/named is often further split to deal
	with the thousands of zone files for the zones some nameservers
	serve.
