Zone files from ftp://rs.internic.net

Hello,

I occasionally ftp to rs.internic.net/domain to obtain the latest "named.ca".

Naturally, I notice all the zone files contained in that directory,such as edu.zone.gz, arpa.zone.gz, etc.

Is there some way I can put these zone files to use on my name servers? Perhaps as type "stub" zones? 

I have wondered about this for some time.
