How to calculate the number of queries

The command "rndc stats" will dump statitics to the named.stats
file. However turning this into meaningful figures is fun as the
format isn't totally human friendly. 

DNS and BIND from O'Reilly covers this well in edition 4. I've
seen scripts around to help interpret the figures at BIND 8 not
sure if anyone has modified them for 9.
