When I try to query your server, I get no response. Presumably
ns1.granitecanyon.com is having the same problem when it tries to transfer
the zone, so it doesn't have the zone loaded.

ns1.ukcomdot.com works because it's entered as a glue record on the .COM
server. Everything else requires querying one of the authoritative servers
for the domain, but your server doesn't respond and the GC servers haven't
yet transferred the domain.

Is it possible that you have a firewall blocking DNS to your server?
