nsupdate and PTR

Hi folks,


I have installed bind9 and in my zone-files there is a ptr which i want to 
delete. The problem is, that there is no domainname in the 
forwardzone-file.

My question is, how can i delete this pointer with nsupdate, because i had 
read that i shouldn't edit the files manually.
