In order not to confuse people who tried to help me, I now use
http://www.symantec.com as the URL (instead of URL of our own
inside.toyota.com.au):

What I also found was that I can call up the page a few times immediate
before without problem (each time shutting down the browser and re-open
again) and then suddenly BIND logs the above error and the browser displayed
"The page cannot be displayed". (So may be the subject line of my post
should read as "inconsistent response from BIND as resolver for domain with
referral").

Danny Mayer previously commented on the message line of "ncache: dname
a568.g.akamai.net, type 1, class 1" and that the problem could be caused by
the existence of "dname". However, I have tried another totally different
URL (inside.toyota.com.au) and has logged the same error message. The
chance of both nameservers sending out "dname" response should be pretty
slim. I for a start know that inside.toyota.com.au do not have dname RR.
So where does the "dname" comes from? May be someone could help. Thanks.

I run BIND 8.3.1 on NT 4.0.
