root name server hijacked?

I suspect it is part of the Chinese government, have a Google
for DNS freenet and china.

Several sites with "freenet" in the name have been noted as
blocked in China before.

This sort of practice undermines the stability of the Internet,
but governments are good at ignoring consequences.
