root servers list changing?

nslookup is a notorious bad tool. It does not say what servers
that supplied the answer.

One guess is that the answer comed from your ms-nameservers, which
replaces their root-server list whenever they are exposed.

If that guess is wrong, please supply the output from :

dig . ns
