New Bind USer

Got a question for anyone willing to help, 


I've just built my first bind server, it's bind 8.4 on freebsd 4.5, The server in question will be cacheing and authoritative for several domains.  currently I can resolve both local and remote domains from the local machine but not from any other client machine, I assume this is a permissions issue, can someone help me figure out how I allow other machines to make queries of my bind machine, 

I need to be able to specify which addresses may use this machine as a cacheing DNS server then allow the whole world to use it as authoritative for the Domains which will be hosted on the machine.

ANy help is greatly appreciated.
