I have a BIND 8.3.1 primary server running on a RedHat 7.0 Linux server, and
a BIND 9.2.0 secondary server running on RedHat Linux 7.2. Every time the
9.2.0 slave queries the 8.3.1 for an AXFR (first time it comes up), the
8.3.1 crashes with the following:
25-Apr-2002 16:33:00.414 insist: critical: ns_req.c:619: INSIST(0) failed.
25-Apr-2002 16:33:00.414 panic: critical: ns_req.c:619: INSIST(0) failed.
I have another 8.3.1 primary running on a different RH 7.0 server and it's
not panicking. Any ideas/hints/clues?
Thanks
