SERVFAIL on some queries?

I'm running bind 9.1.3 on Solaris 8.  When I issue queries for some domains 
I get SERVFAIL responses.  One such query is dig mx seminoleenergy.com.  I 
am not responsible for the seminoleenergy.com zone, I'm just trying to send 
mail there. I've got other caching only nameservers running bind 9.1.3 on 
linux that do not exhibit the same behaviour.  Is this something that I can 
do something about? or is the problem on the other end?
