Need a DNS monitor, preferably Windows-based

         Check out IPSentry (http://www.ipsentry.com/). For US$99.00 for a
single license you get a great product.  It has addons that you can add fot
additional cost or you can create your own.  It allows you to define expected
behavior and response of the target and runs on Windows platforms.
