Not sure if it is what you want, but a domain can have an A
record wildcard.

Thus "* IN A 127.0.0.1" will match all unknown entries. Can lead
to tricky problems and all the entries have to be the same, so
no good if you want 200 of one sort and 200 of another.

Can you not automate adding the records in a script that does
whatever the 400 odd toto.com entries are for?
