Changing dns servers and TTL

I am going to change dns servers for my domain.
New server would take upto 3 days to publish.
So do u think that increasing TTL values would make our domain 
successfully available to the world on internet? with no failure?
while web server setting is not going to take any change.
Kindly advise precautions too. Thanks/Regards

Present values are:
21600     Refresh
10800     Retry
1728000 Expire
43200    TTL
