         How clear can the message be?  It means exactly what it says:
named cannot set any resource limits on your Windows box.  How
to correct it?  Write code which will allow named to set resource limits.

         Only the physical memory has any relevance.  The speed of the machine
doesn't matter.  How much pagefile do you have?  Don't forget that zone transfers
take memory and you have a large number of records.  Have you tried to increase
the size of the pagefile?
