Weird...
Lion just hacked thru two of my servers... and he said I should upgrade to
bind 9.x... He said he modified his worm and now everyone should at least
move to 9.x ver...

I think everyone knows his address...

Anyone else can verify? I'm using 8.2.3-REL dated Sat Jan 2001. Is this a
beta?

Thanks. Any help additional info/help is highly appreciated.

The Buffer Overflow was fixed in 8.2.3-REL. It existed in beta and RC
versions.

# hi All:
#
# Does anyone know of any hole existing in bind 8.2.3, like the
# remote buffer
# overflow eg? How about the bind version 9.x?
