Premature EOF fetching "zone"

  I recently upgraded my secondaries to 8.2-3 , one on NT and one on Tru64
unix. All went well, zone transfers included. On Friday I upgraded my
primary from 4-9-7 (on NT) to 8-2-3. while all went well with the install
and the server is working fine, the secondaries are both failing with the
Premature EOF fetching "zone" error. I tried the archive but get get no help
there. Has anyone else had someething similar ?
