BIND-9.1.1rc2 does not update slave servers

I've just installed BIND-9.1.1rc2 on Solaris 7 boxes...I built the DNS
structure but when I restart named on my master server it zone transfer the
zones across to the slave...actually, I could not locate named.xfer. I
thought this was the binary that actually transfered the zones to different
slaves...could anyone shed some light on this, please...thanks in
advance...Jerry
