nslookup question

You're a lifesaver. When I "thought" I had copied the nsswitch.dns file to 
the nsswitch.conf file, I accidentally copied the nsswitch.file file to the 
nsswitch.conf file! I didn't think to check it since I thought I had made

Sounds like it might be a resolver configuration issue, rather than a
nameserver issue.

How is /etc/nsswitch.conf configured on the box?

What are the contents of /etc/resolv.conf?
