One way is to use a delegation checking tool like 'doc'.  'doc' uses
'dig' (see man dig) and it is a safe bet that Len did too.

'doc' is a shell script for checking domain delegations.  From the
README:

Doc (domain obscenity control) is a program which diagnoses
misbehaving domains by sending queries off to the appropriate
DNS nameservers, and performing simple analysis on the responses.
