I'm sorry? There is but one version of BIND 9.1.2 - version 9.1.2. And
what kind of thoughts?

I have been running 9.1.2 since it was released and like it. Seems to
work smoothly with only one really fatal error to date. (Then my
mistake of putting in the wrong MX and breaking mail delivery
completely for 36 hours, that's a different story.)
